This site is all about ThanksUSA, an organization that has provided me with so many opportunities during my three years of college!
My experience with ThanksUSA has been nothing but a blessing. I've been provided with scholarships for my college expenses on multiple accounts, and I was given the opportunity to travel to Washington D.C., not once, but twice to participate in their annual charity tennis tournament. I had the wonderful pleasure of meeting Kelsi and Rachel, the founders of ThanksUSA along with their family and many other wonderful people who keep the organization running so smoothly.
My first experience in Washington D.C. with ThanksUSA sent me all over the city, running from monument to monument and museum and museum in an attempt to take in the sights all over again. Little did I know that I'd get to fly to the city again a year later.
My second visit to Washington D.C. courtesy of ThanksUSA was much calmer. I spent most of my time touring the adorable and charming city of Georgetown. So instead of taking in the sights I missed, I got to see a whole new part of the area.
ThanksUSA is a non-partisan, charitable effort, providing need-based scholarships to military members, their spouses and families. They encourage Americans to thank the men and women serving in the United States Armed Forces.
