The Association for Childhood Education International (ACEI) is one of the oldest education associations in the world. ACEI was founded in 1892 to promote the rights of children and the development of teachers.

To promote and support  the optimal education and development of children in the global community, from birth through early adolescence, and to influence the professional growth of educators and the efforts of those who are committed to the needs of children in a changing society.
