There are many opportunities to participate in ACEI’s organization: meetings, community service projects, and fundraising events.<\/p>\n

ACEI also participates in the Texas State Organization Fair in an effort to raise awareness of its benefits and recruit new members.<\/p>\n

Some highlights of the organization’s activities have been Bobcat Build and bringing in a children book author during the fall 2013 semester. Julia Cook<\/a>, author of “But It’s Just a Game” and other children’s books came to Texas State to speak with students about teaching, her writing, and motivating the unmotivated children in school.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
